Welcome! I hope to tell you more about what makes me, me.

I'm working hard on updating this site and working on the design. This is an ongoing process while I work on more impactful side-projects. As always, feel free to ask me about anything as I do not openly share a lot of this work for various reasons (NDAs, client requests, competition landscape, etc.).

A little about me...

I'm a passionate designer that is heavily influenced by tech, accessibility and cross-discipline collaboration and innovation.

I grew-up at the pinnacle of home-computing and coin-op gaming moving into the living room. This led to the successful design and operation of an international Bulletin Board System (BBS) as a kid, before the internet became widespread (1993-1996).

Having mixed a heavy education in visual arts and design, detailed hardware and software tech, and finally psychology and cognitive science, has landed me squarely in the middle of Product and Experience Design.

Traveling around the world and living for a short time in Japan, I've had the fortunate ability to immerse myself in and understand different cultures. This in turn has helped in applying different thinking and empathy to designing for a global audience.

I believe that some of the most difficult and complicated problems around the world are the most exciting to explore and solve, and this is the arena where I thrive. I have helped design solutions for such notable clients as Tesla, Apple and many others of the Top 100.

I love helping lead people to success, facilitating thought / innovation exercises and open knowledge sharing with my peers.

When not pondering philosophical ideas around design thinking and innovation, I enjoy exploring new tech including crypto and blockchain, machine learning (and AI), humanitarian and environmental problem spaces. I also enjoy experiencing new cultures, volunteer work, and spending time outdoors.
